Speed limiters are now required by law under the latest Singapore Traffic Police regulations. If your lorry exceeds 3,501kg in Maximum Laden Weight (MLW), you must install a limiter to cap your speed at 60 km/h — or face penalties, failed inspections, and operational delays.
